Therapeutic Massage

60 minutes: $80.00

My approach to Therapeutic Massage involves a multi-modality approach to healing and restoration. The modalities used may include anything from Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Orthopedic Massage, Myofascial Release, Neuromuscular Technique, Lymphatic Therapy, or Active-assisted Stretching. The approach will be tailored to your specific condition and desired outcome. Before we begin, we will discuss your area of discomfort/desired area of focus, and then we will determine the best treatment plan for your particular situation.

Orthopedic Massage

60 minutes: $80.00

Orthopedic massage is a style of massage therapy focused on treating painful conditions that affect the soft tissues of the body. Because orthopedic massage is designed to treat medical conditions, it requires extensive training. It involves releasing tense muscles, helping to stretch and lengthen tight muscles and tendons, and decompress rigid joints. My goal is to restore full health to the soft tissues of your body, both treating your specific conditions as well as improving your overall well-being.

Lymphatic Therapy

60 minutes: $90.00

Lymphatic Therapy aims to gently and rhythmically move the lymph through the body, especially swollen areas of the body, relieving pressure and enhancing the functioning of the immune system. As both a preventative and remedial technique, Lymphatic Therapy can be used for a wide range of purposes including preparation for surgery, recovery from surgery, faster recovery from injury, reduction of swelling and pain, reduction of stress and anxiety, and stimulation of the immune system.

Lymphatic Therapy is very gentle and light, using about 5 grams of pressure (about the weight of a nickel).

Scar Treatment

60 minutes: $80.00

Scar Treatment is a technique used to address scars experienced from surgery to injury. The treatment addresses the feelings of discomfort and also reduces pain. This is done by breaking up adhesions which results in less stress on the tissues and increased range of motion. The treatment incorporates myofascial massage by targeting the fascia as well as the scar itself. In addition to myofascial massage, scar treatment incorporates a variety of modalities (cupping, lymphatic therapy, etc.) to achieve the best possible result (by feel, comfort, and visibly).

Chair Massage

2 hours: $150.00

Chair massage is a popular way of relieving stress and releasing tension right in your home or workplace. You receive your massage in a specialized ergonomic chair which I bring to your location. In addition to the usual health benefits of massage, another benefit of chair massage is that it is done over the clothing. With seated massage, you can avoid the discomfort and awkwardness that you may feel in disrobing for a traditional massage. Also, chair massage sessions are usually shorter than traditional massage, making it convenient enough to fit into your busy schedule.

Chair massage sessions are normally scheduled for home or workplace parties in duration from 2 to 6 hour increments, and is normally broken down into 15 minute ‘hands-on’ sessions. Chair massage payment is for the agreed upon duration time from start to finish rather than ‘hands-on’ time.
