Welcome to North River Mobile Massage!
Hello, my name is Kurt and I am a Licensed Massage Therapist by the State of Michigan. I am nationally Board Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, and hold Orthopedic Certification through the Center for Pain Management. As an insured member of the American Massage Therapy Association, I have been a massage therapist since 2016. My experience varies from working with athletes to working with people that experience a variety of autoimmune disorders.
I am trained in a number of different modalities including: Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Myofascial Release, Lymphatic Therapy, Orthopedic Massage, and Active-assisted Stretching. I received my massage therapy degree from the Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC) in Maryland and graduated with honors in 2016. While in the program, and based upon my performance, I received the School of Health Professions Outstanding Student Award. Beginning in 2019, I worked as a Supplemental Instructor for the CCBC Massage Therapy Program. I received my orthopedic certification at the beginning of 2020. Currently, I am working toward becoming a Master Myoskeletal Therapist (MMT).
What is a mobile massage therapist? A mobile massage therapist provides services for clients at their home or place of business. This is especially valuable for those who have busy schedules, who do not have reliable transportation, or who have difficulty leaving their home. A mobile massage therapist brings a portable massage table and supplies to provide you with a massage at your location.
